Bird of Paradise

A window onto the Garden of Paradise in sepia, using the saz illumination technique with a “Bird of paradise” in full colour.All types of birds are found in Paradise and I have chosen to create an imaginary bird using some of the characteristics of the beautiful birds we have on earth.

The technique involves the use of a very fine handmade brush which essentially has one hair at its end which is used to create layers of strokes.
